Location and design

Vermont/Expo station is located in the median of Exposition Boulevard, on both sides of Vermont Avenue. The location is at a busy intersection in the West Adams District. The intersection of Vermont/Expo has three major destinations:

The station has "far-side" platforms: this means that the platforms are positioned on opposite sides of the intersection, and trains always stop at the platform after crossing the intersection.

The station's art is being created by artist Jessica Polzin McCoy. Entitled Neighborhood Portrait: Reconstructed, the installation will include photographs that take the viewer inside of the homes of West Adams residents. [3]
